How Does this Kickstarter thing work?
So, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding website, and I’m trying to gather backers who will help fund mass production of these bags. :) Backers can pledge for a any reward they choose at a discount, choose their colors/particulars, and then the bags will be produced/shipped. If we don’t meet the funding goal, no one is charged any money – you will not be charged until September 3-4.

Can I pay via PayPal?
Kickstarter only accepts credit card payments, so your actual pledge can only be paid via card. HOWEVER, on Sept 3 when the campaign is, a preorder store will be opened that CAN accept Paypal (it will be linked at the top).

When do I get to pick out my bags/keychains/stuff?
After the campaign ends, your card will be charged, and then soon after, you’ll get an individualized link to your Backerkit survey where you can specify colors/inserts/keychains, and add add-ons!

Is the cost of shipping included?
Shipping IS NOT INCLUDED in the tiers and will be charged later when you fill out your survey – this is to guarantee the lowest costs possible. There is an estimated shipped chart at the top of the campaign page. You can add it now if you prefer.

International shipping is expensive, why?
Unfortunately, these are the lowest rates available from the USA right now. I’ve worked hard to figure out how to get these prices as low as possible and there is nothing else I can do to make it lower. :( I’m very sorry.

What if my address changes before I get my bags/pins?
No worries – you’ll have an individualized survey link where you can update your address anytime. The addresses will only be locked once shipping begins.

I want more than 2 bags/more than 1 pin -- what should I do?
You can either add additional dollars to your pledge or you can just add them in backerkit later. Don’t worry – you’ll be able to get as many as you’d like!

What is the bag made of?
Vegan leather, a thick plastic window, and metal hardware.

Yes, both can be transformed between crossbody and backpack mode.

YES. You will be able to choose whichever ones get unlocked that you like :)

Will I get to choose my insert?
By default, you’ll get two that matche the bag color (with and without faces), and if you’d like, there are tiers where you can get the bag + an insert pack where you can choose two additional.

Are you shipping to all countries in the world?
Yes, most of them, unless they’re on the list of restricted/sanctioned countries by the US postal service; sorry, there’s nothing I can do about this sadly :(

Will the small bag fit my 3DS XL/my phone?
YES and YES. The small bag will fit large phones. It won’t fit a switch or switch lite – opt for the big bag for these.

Will the big bag fit my ipad?
The big bag will fit any ipad whose max length (on a side, not the screen measurement) does not exceed 10”.

Will the big bag fit my switch console?
YES, it fits a full sized switch with joycons attached, even with a hardshell case on it.
The big bag can also fit your dock and cables for your switch as well, making it an awesome way to travel with the console and peripherals.

I cancelled my early bird tier but want to pledge again, and it's after Aug 6 at 12pm can I get the pricing again?
Unfortunately there’s no way for me to do this. :( You can still pledge for any of the bag tiers which are also discounted off the retail cost. :)

I want 2 big bags/2 small bags, but I don't see a tier for it -- what do I do?
First, go ahead and pledge to the tier of the first bag you want. For an additional big bag (with 2 inserts, a free pin, and free ita keychain), add $60; For an additional small bag (with 2 inserts, a free pin, and free ita keychain), add $50.

Can I get a refund?
If you pledged to Kickstarter and your card was charged, no refund can be issued. Clarification (2-4-2021): this also applies to all preorders placed in backerkit as well.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
