STATUS: Fulfillment Complete

Hello everyone!  I have great news; as of today, all outstanding rewards packages have been fulfilled!*

Thank you all for your patience and kindness through this process.  We hit a few snags along the way, and the quality assurance process was a lot of work, but we're at the finish line finally.  I could jump for joy!

*barring a couple of cases (typically if we had an order/address question that is outstanding); if you didn't get a tracking number email or OTHER email from us, please contact us at [email protected]. Please note that we are still working through an email backlog (while juggling con prep and other tasks at this time) and replies are delayed, but we are resolving inquiries as soon as we are able.

Shop Release

There is currently no planned shop release date for the bags (yet); this is because the Kittynaut team will be going on a hiatus to reorganize our workspace, wrap up some cons on our schedule, reconcile our stock, and take a much needed rest.  If you are interested in the shop release, please sign up to our email list (we rarely send emails, so don't worry, we won't spam you).

Hello all, it's time for another update!  A lot of this will be familiar from prior updates, but I want to make sure this information reaches everyone (please bear with me and the redundancy).  But as always, first I want to link the user feedback survey:

Fulfillment status - 92% Complete

(the following will likely sound familiar since the last update; not much has changed beyond the percentage we've completed). 

We realize this month's progress has been slower than expected, we do apologize (there have been some crazy personal matters behind the scenes, such is life).  We are continuing to work through the backlog and are happy to see folks pleased with their bags :)

If you're a Kickstarter backer and have not received your rewards yet, this is completely normal (we're still fulfilling the last bags)!  No need to worry, we're still working through shipments. 

Please keep an eye on your email inboxes for tracking updates, and as always, we are all ears in the case that there are any address updates you may need.

Reminder: Returned to Sender Orders!!!

We have received a couple people's bags as "returned to sender."  In all cases, this means that the package was delivered, but the expected recipient was not at that address.  If you have received tracking, but DID NOT get your bag, PLEASE get in touch with us!  We are happy to re-ship returned to sender bags for you to make sure you get it (note: may incur addl. shipping fees).  Those who are are outside of the USA, PLEASE don't allow your bags to languish long at customs, because your package may be disposed of if it sits too long (depending on your country's rules!)

Last-Last Update I had mentioned that I was hoping to finish fulfillment completely within 4-12 weeks (1-3 months).  2 of those months have passed and while we're not done yet, we are getting quite close and I think we will hit the deadline to finish everything in the next couple of weeks.  As mentioned, we've hired additional help to keep this process going as fast as possible for you. :)  Please keep an eye on your email inboxes for tracking updates, and as always, we are all ears in the case that there are any address updates you may need.

We're starting to see the end of fulfillment finally at about 2/3 completion as of today :)  I was ill for a couple of weeks last month, we made pretty good headway regardless.

Last Update I had mentioned that I was hoping to finish fulfillment completely within 4-12 weeks. 4 of those weeks have passed and while we're not done yet, we are still plugging away.  As mentioned, we've hired additional help to keep this process going as fast as possible for you. :)  We will keep everyone posted.

Fulfillment status - almost halfway there

As more and more folks get their bags, you may see others who are showing off their clouds and wondering "where's my cloud!?" Fear not, for we are STILL fulfilling (we are about 48% done).

What am I doing to make sure this keeps on going?  We will be hiring an extra helper part time to keep the ball rolling.  We have a VERY ambitious goal to have most, if not all bags out within 4-6 weeks (we will try very hard).  It could take longer that this depending on how fast we can grade/rework articles.

For those of you who have been kind, patient, and cool throughout this project, THANK YOU.  THANK YOU.  Seriously.  It keeps me going when people are polite and read my updates.

--- Addendum

A side rant regarding fulfillment speed:

I have noted repeatedly in updates/comments/other public forums that fulfillment is going to take awhile and that we're a small team -- specifically, the team is 2 people strong.  Two. 2. Deux. We're both pouring in about two shifts per day at this point, working in overdrive for OVER 8 hrs per day, and often on our weekends. 

That said, I have been receiving a number of messages and complaints from backers along the lines of "where is my stuff" and "others got their stuff why didn't I get mine" and "I haven't seen anything" -- well, here's the update!  We've still got HALF of you to go, so it's pretty normal if you don't see your rewards yet.   This brings me to my next point:

********* Please DO NOT MESSAGE US with questions about "when's my bag shipping?" The answer is here -- you will receive it in a matter of weeks (and be emailed a tracking number when it ships). ******** Best case, 4 weeks. Worst case if something happens and there are delays, 12 weeks. I am asking for these inquiries to STOP, because every minute I spend answering these (and they come EVERY DAY FROM EVERYWHERE, in my inbox, in our instagram comments/DMs, in Kickstarter comments, etc), is time I could have spent on shipping and fulfillment or responding to backers who truly urgently need assistance and service.  Some of these inquiries have been less than polite, or outright rude (but they are the minority).  It is highly stressful on our team on top of the huge amount of work we are putting in right now.  Please refrain from contacting us unless there is important information you need to relay to us (address change or a problem with your rewards).

Remember, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform for projects by creators, and you are investors in this project who are receiving rewards and perks not afforded to others as the project closes.  Kickstarter is not a store (https://www.kickstarter.com/blog/kickstarter-is-not-a-store).  We are communicating and being transparent and honest and refuse to compromise our quality in the name of rushing this out the door, because we CARE.  Please treat our team kindly.  Please do not send us angry messages.

PS - we have received some indications that preorders are receiving rewards before backers (this is not our intention); after  a lot of digging, we found that there were a few that were accidentally shipped a bit earlier than intended due to some import data errors (order dates getting mixed up).  Going forward, we will continue to try to avoid this as much as possible.  Please don't yell at us!  We're only human.
